Jellicoe pool

This comment was also for our summer learning journey and here is my work HOPE YOU ENJOY!!! Jellicoe pool On friday 14 Dec 2018 Rm 13 went to jellicoe pool, and on 14 Dec the whole class was in the jellicoe pool except Solomone. We arrived there at 9:00 am and we arrived to school back at 3:30 is when the school ends. It was fun in the pool there was a separate pool for Rosser house and the other small classes like year 1, year 2 and year 3. There were some slides to slide in the water it was as cool as skydiving in the water. The people who were older than 18 years old where in the deep pool they were jumping in and we all were only seeing them.

  1. Kia ora Prasiddh,

My name is Rachel and I am working with Megan and Cia on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. It is great to see that you were blogging this week and sharing your experiences with us. It sounds like you had a great time at the pool on Friday! I also love to swim and I often take my son, Aronui, to the local pool. Aronu is learning how to swim lengths in the pool. He is also learning how to dive! When he gets bigger (he is eight years old now) he wants to go on the big slides as well.

I hope that you get the chance to go back to the pool one day soon. I also hope that you will continue to blog with us over the summer. Our programme is open every day until Friday 25 January 2019 so there is still plenty of time to hop onto to the Summer Learning Journey website (www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz), to chose an activity from the Weekly Activities tab and to post your answer on your blog. Our team will read it, provide a comment and give you points for doing a Summer Learning Journey activity.

Hope to see you online again soon!

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)
